Infrastructure Application Specialist (with ServiceNow)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• operational technical support (troubleshooting and issues resolution)
• involvement in implementation and further development of add-on modules (currently, the team is developing new functionalities in ServiceNow, migrating functionalities from legacy solution. These are various reports, views, HW/SW asset repositories, etc.)
• application installation, configuration and validation
• involvement in design and execution of technical application tests (e.g. performance testing)
• packaging and deployment, setup and troubleshooting of application interfaces
• on-call and out of hours support where necessary (the team is quite big, so we’d expect a team member to be on-call once every two months)

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• good understanding of complex IT infrastructure components
• ServiceNow experience (certification not required, awareness necessary, ability to learn crucial)
• working understanding of UNIX, Linux or Windows operating systems
• exposure to SQL, UNIX shell or PowerShell scripting
• logical and analytical thinking
• ITIL or COBIT familiarity
• fluent English, any German skills would be seen as an advantage
• goal oriented customer-centric approach and willingness to walk the extra mile
