Cash Allocation Accountant with Russian
We are looking for a professional with great personality and experience in accounting to join our client’s multicultural team in Prague.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform accounting activities in area of cash payments allocation, fixed asset’s movement, according IFRS and corporate standards
- Perform duties according closing schedule and according task list maintained for the department.
- Follow the assigned procedures and policies of the company
- Ensures that accounting manuals and other documentation is kept up to date, and that tasks are completed in time to meet deadlines for the monthly closing process
- Reconcile the assigned accounts
- Cooperate and provide information to stake holders (client, Auditors, authorities, HQ) as applicable
- Various ad hoc questions, tasks and projects within functional responsibility of the company, requested by the manager
- Provide training to new comers or other employees in scope
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Economic education – no less than Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance
- Previous work experience in transactional accounting
- Languages: English (min. intermediate) and Russian
- Accounting knowledge of IFRS and local requirements
- Communication skills
- Computer skills – MS Word, Outlook, Excel (on an advanced level)
- Knowledge of ERP systems of clients – (accounting software, SAP is an advantage)
- Team player
- Active approach
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to apply hands-on approach
